It's not very complex and it doesn't look like anything particularly eye catching was done to the original image of this girl, actually, she looks a little too faded and washed out.
The colors of the brushes are nice, they match the pink sombrero and blue tank top that the girl's wearing, nice, nice. Her lack of arms looks strange though, because they're covered by these star brushes (I hope.)
The stripes that are part of the star brushes look nice, mirroring the stripes on the girl's shirt.
It's nice that the site name is along the bottom of the graphic, however, it's a little hard to read (though still very readable) and the font wasn't a good choice. Perhaps a cursive font would have looked nice? The thick, white outline around the site name and image map links isn't very aesthetically pleasing.
Back to the background image though! I don't understand why it's white/grey wood. What's the point of that in relation to her graphic? There is no relation. The pink outline goes nicely though.
PInk, blue, and the gold/yellow brown of the frame are all used in her code, along with black for the main text. Don't be afraid to use shades of grey for your main text; personally, I hate black and/or white text.
Headers vary between the main div and the sidebar, which adds flair. However, they're so similar! The only difference is the dashed one pixel bottom border.
Everything is readable, nothing blends in too much, nor is anything too small.
aim icons;
Oh. By the way, now that I've clicked on links, when you hover over them the color is so light that you can't read it at all.
These AIM icons are made well. I personally wouldn't use them, but I know people in general that would.
"Icons from the-six-mix" Hmm, what? What is the-six-mix?
avatars;
I don't think "animated" and "other" have to be a categories. People will be able to see if they're animated or not.
The animated avatars are interesting. Some of the "others" are nice, though they're simple and don't catch one's eye. Some of the text on them is really difficult to read, too. (Do I see some of my stocks being used on the fire one? *Adds ten points to review* Just kidding. I'm not shallow like that and don't give out "grades" any way...)
backgrounds;
Backgrounds for what? Once the page loaded, I saw tat they're backgrounds for AIM icons and avatars... someone
making either of those wouldn't search for a background image, they would make their own. These are
sort of a waste of space/silly.
brushes;
"Words of Sorrow" looks like the words are really hard to read.
"Music Lyrics" are lyrics for... what song? By whom? Come on now.
"Pixel X's" doesn't need an apostrophe after the X.
"Dashed Lines" is cute; I would use them.
"Thumb Tacks" is an interesting idea. Do you use 3D brushes, Christina? Personally, I hate how 3D brushes look.
"Burst of Stars" looks basically identical to "Starry Night Brushes" b Celestial-Star! Curious?
"Circles"...? Seriously? That's really boring and unoriginal. Not to mention, making a circle is a tool in a photo editor.
"Peace Signs" cute!
"Clovers" doesn't seem like it would be very popular. Again with those 3D brushes...
"Yarn" see above.
"Starfish" see above.
It would be nice if Christina would tell her visitors that these are only for PSP. Also, it seems that a lot of these have very few brushes in them.
fonts;
Ah, yes, I see that Christina has jumped onto the band wagon of offering fonts she didn't make, much
like many other sites I've seen. At least she has the decency to link us to the site she took them from, right?
It would be even nicer if she linked us directly to their proper pages on DaFont, as to redirect visitors
to where they may download them instead of offering downloads herself.
icon light textures;
It would be more practical to just offer light textures/stocks.
photography;
Why are these listed under the resources page? They're not resourceful, nor or they practical for anything.
Perhaps these belong in a portfolio...
layouts;
Since when are layouts considered resources? When I think of resources I think of things I can use
in order to create a layout or graphic.
Alright, I really don't understand. the one is just a graphic. The others are just bases? Graphics with areas built in for divs? Okay then. they're sort of really boring.
stock;
These are interesting, I suppose people would use some of these, though some are blurry.
textures;
"Light Textures" comes to mind. These aren't very big for non-repeating textures.
wallpapers;
Another thing which I'm not sure belongs under "resources" but oh well.
All but two are available in two sizes (1024 x 768 and 800 x 600.) Some of these are cute, there's not much to say.
She forgot to type in the first tan i in "Lavigne" I suppose.
These are... easy to follow, but the first one especially seems completely useless.
html help;
These could be under tutorials... though now that I've looked through them, they're
really generic.
myspace codes;
Huh. Useful. Where did Christina get these?
special characters;
These are helpful, definitely. I know I've tried to find these before.
It's weird (and nettling) that the sidebar has a "links" section which includes apply for advertisement and apply for affiliation.
Credits can be found off of the site page. It's a nice list and she even says what she used from each site, which is really nice and thoughtful. She used a color palette from my site. Not to nit pick or anything, but I really think that this icon uses some of my light stock. Hell, it definitely uses this one.
Most of her content seems practical, though I would nix the AIM and avatar backgrounds and avatar light stocks. The font thing is sort of superfluous, as are the many, many subpages off of each content page.
