site: Sweet-Rush
owner: Fiorella
reviewed: October 12th, 2008
Kudos for having the site name up on the graphic, too.
All of the text in the graphic makes it look cluttered.
I don't like the stars along the right. The layout is blue and then all the sudden there are these brown/beige stars.
The second original image (right) has been blended poorly and looks way too opaque.
The main original image looks nice, however, I don't understand why the dog's snout has been cut off and why Fiorella left the big, black... thing to the left.
I don't like the light tan background color for the tables. The same font has been used for everything! Trying some variety will make the code look more interesting.
The headers have grey backgrounds and white text, another very generic, very boring feature to the code.
The underlined text is a little hard to see, but not unbearable.
The links to her affiliates in the sidebar don't have any effects! They look exactly the same as all the regular text on the site.
Oh, yes. Of course. Each content page splits up into subpages! It's a lot more convenient to list subsectinos on the same page. Which would mean, on the visitor's content page, linking layouts, icons, mini blends, background, etcetera, instead of making visitors go through another page.
Let's revise the review now since I've been mislead by the owner.
Visitor content includes layouts, icons, mini blends, html codes, and reviews.
layouts;
When I hover over the first layout (Alexis Bledel) it tries to take me to the Amanda Bynes layout. There's
an error in her link code.
The preivews are small clips of the layout and don't make the layouts look appealing at all.
These "layouts" are boring, not well made, and they're not even layouts! They're not even uncoded layouts! They're just graphics!
icons;
Some of these are pixalated, most have no enthusiasm, cropping pictures barely passes for icons.
mini blends;
There are six. Out of those six, three are low resolution. These are bland, too.
backgrounds;
Four available. These are okay, though so simple that anyone could make them.
html;
Helpful codes for people trying to learn how to do simple html things.
reviews;
Keep in mind these are closed right now! Giving people a grade (a fraction) is degrading and rude.
It would make more sense to have the visitor link first. People come by the site to see the content, not read about the owner.
I think the owner page needs to be updated. I have been on picxo for a long time. Her site is on freewebs.
No, no, no. Her credits page (found off of the site page) consists of five credits. Two of which are hosts, two are for original images, and one is "inspiration."
Has she not used fonts other than default fonts? I can tell by looking at her graphic that she has. Brushes? Hmm?
Compete is for competitions and what not
Entertainment is a waste of space.
Fiorella should spend more time on her content. It's all useful content, it just needs more work, time, and effort put into it so it can be of nicer quality.
The credits are really shady.
Aligning text TO THE LEFT looks so much better.

This cbox is for visitors to comment about the sites that have been reviewed. It is not for visitors' complaints, defending of friends, telling me how to review sites, or for juding my site. If you want to do one of those listed above, feel free to e-mail me at skylineillusions@yahoo.com which is the site e-mail that I check frequently; I don't feel as if there is a need for any one to e-mail me over these reviews, though. I check this cbox about once every two weeks, usually only if one of my friends says "Go look at that cbox!"
