The white background of the divider against the black background of the page is a lot of contrast and makes the white look really bright, though.
If you look at the colors in the graphic, there's a nice color scheme of dark blues, light blues, a jaded red, not to mention black, white, and grey. The colors are nice, I appreciate that they're not vibrant-in-your-face colors; some people think that you need colors like that in order to actually have "color" but they are wrong.
I don't like how the graphic just stops on the left and the right. Since the background color is black, it would look a lot better if Stephie had just worked the blend into a black background, then it all would have flown well.
I like how the headers on the main divider and the sidebar are different, it makes the code look like more time was put into it.
The white background still gets to me, it's a big turn off, actually. Out of black and white, I think black would have been the better choice. I think it would have looked nicer if Stephie had made a place for the dividers in the graphic, then the code and graphic would look like they went together a lot more.
Brushes;
These are nice, not amazing. The bright circles are easy to make
with the default Photo Shop brushes, I would assume
it's the same for Paint Shop Pro. The Super Chic(k) brush
set is the nicest one here. Rounded boxes are a default
shape in Photo Shop. The stars look interesting.
Color Palettes;
None of these really catch my eye as amazing. They're color palettes, though,
no one should say "They're so amazing!" They're just colors. Some look nice,
some don't go well together in my book.
Stocks;
Yey for previews! A lot of the previews look the same, but the scans are obviously from a set, so she
can't change that. Some are low resolution, sadly. Some are very nice, high quality images, though.
Textures;
Kudos for more previews. Some of these are low resolution, too. Actually. They're more like
artificially made light stocks.
Blends;
Some of these are a little plain, however, they are blended really nicely and these are, in fact,
high quality images.
Desktops;
Also known as wallpapers. These are available in two sizes, are high quality, well made,
and use brushes nicely.
Icons;
I don't respect the fact that "scene" is a category. These are cropped pictures with filters;
barely any time has been spent on them.
Old Icons;
These should just be grouped with all the other icons. These are nicer, actually. They feature
brushes, too, and are more appealing.
Photography;
Is this stock photography? Personal photography? I can't see myself using any
of these in a layout, but maybe someone woud.
Uncoded Layouts;
These are just blends, really. There is no space in them that anyone could put
dividers in and it would look good.
Tutorials;
Whoa there are a lot of tutorials! They seem easy enough to follow and useful.
A nice list of resources can be find off of the "Shameless" page. They're organized into different sections (tutorials, graphics, etcetera.)
Some things could be made a little nicer, though. Mainly double checking to see if she's saved things as high quality images.
