If you would like to have your site reviewed, you must adhere to the following rules. By applying for a site review, you automatically agree to adhere to the following rules whether you've read them or not, so it's suggested that you read them.
Generally, the sites I review are web design/graphic/resource sites. However, if you have some sort of personal site, fan site, blog, et cetera, you may apply for a review as long as you made the site yourself including layout and content.
1) A linkback on your site saying something like "I'm being reviewed by Skyline Illusions" is not required, but greatly appreciated. Being linked under your affiliates does not count, sorry.
2) You must choose either a private review or a public review. Private reviews will only be read by you. Public reviews will be linked on my site and able to be viewed by anyone. If you would like to post your review on your site when it's finished, it must be a public review - private reviews are not permitted to be posted on the internet, however, if you want to share it with someone, send it to them in an e-mail. You must choose either a private or public review before you read your review.
3) Your site layout must be made by YOU. This means the graphic, all coding, style sheet; everything. Obviously you may use resources, photos, brushes, fonts, et cetera from another site (credit them.) If your site layout has not been made 100% by you and I realize this before starting your review, I will not review your site. If I realize this after I've begun your review, I will terminate your review and post it as is.
4) The review I write for your site is my opinion! You are not expected to agree with all of it or any of it - you may disagree with all of it. It makes no difference to me if you agree or not, but if you do not agree, do not spam me in any way or post any spiteful comments on my site; don't send them to my e-mail or IM accounts, either.
6) If you hate your review and hate me for saying that your site isn't that great, you are ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED to trash talk me or Skyline Illusions in any way on your site, on the internet, or publically at all. If you are that immature that you must trash talk me or this site, then do so to your friends, privately.
5) You may always re-apply for a review if you didn't like your review. If you didn't like your review, I suggest you make revisions before re-applying.
Once you submit your application... I will visit your site, write your review, send it to you, linkback to your homepage on my "Completed Reviews" page, and offer a link for visitors to read your review if you choose a public review. If you choose private, I will not provide a link.
Once you receive your rewview... you may take my link down from your site (if you put one up). If you would like to post the review somehwere on your site, then you must have chosen a public review when you applied.
If you apply for another review... you will be bumped up to the top of the pending list (it's not posted anywhere, just on my computer.) Which means I will review you before all other first timers that are waiting.
