My friend has a site, radio-rocket.net, which opened first. Uhm. I will assume this is just a coincidence that Caitlyn named her site the same name.
I will not go into the subjects of "Edward Cullen" or "Bella Swan" or Twilight in this review, for fear of this girl's feelings being tormented.
The site's URL can be clearly read.
The repeating background image, though it looks nice color wise, is a bit too much for a simple grapic like this, and doesn't do much to incorporate the divs to the graphic.
brushes;
Cute brushes - nice previews. However, it doesn't say how many brushes are in each pack, say what program they were made in/for, or offer an image pack. Perhaps an image pack
is available in the download? I wouldn't know - Caitlyn has written nothing about that.
coded layouts;
Decent sized previews! Yay!
Oh, I see now. Those things are traumatized cupcakes on her resources page. Well. That's creepy. And weird. It's even more weird to make a layout featuring them.
The Audrey Kitching layout was made very, very well. It features an original graphic and a good style sheet to match.
Mah. The Kristen Stewart layout looks bad and boring compared to the Audrey Kitching layout and the site layout.
scripts;
They're... scripts. What more can really be said. Previews = good.
smilies;
Aw. These are cute, creative, and high quality. There are three different sets, and they're actually all different. Kudos.
blank buttons;
Offering blank buttons is stupid. I'm sick of seeing them.
bullets;
Cute, again! These are also well made. Check them out if you've been looking for bullets.
calendar icons;
Neat... this is the first site that I've seen offer these.
icons;
Icons are available for celebrities, holidays, landscapes and nature, objects, and people. Maybe Caitlyn will want to enter my icon contest. *Cough.*
These are nice icons! A lot of sites just have cropped pictures for icons, or with one little effect on them. The celrbrity icons are great. The second holiday icon is really simple, but I like it a lot. Meh... slacking off for landscapes and nature. Some of the object icons are cool. I love the one with the tape in it. The people icons are really nice, too, but more simplistic than the celebrity icons.
premade layouts;
I think "premade headers" would be a more appropriate title.
Uhm. She has used some of these in her downloadable layouts... that's silly.
wallpapers;
Creative!
PNGs;
Available for actors, actresses, models, movie/tv shows, and musicians.
Nice... there's not much one can say about PNGs.
The about page splits off into advertising, affiliates, credits, history, link me, owner, and past layouts.
The credits page links sites appropriately.
The little... things on the resources page got to go. More info on the brush sets would be helpful. LOVE THOSE SMILIES. I find is strange that some of the graphics from the coded layouts are available as premade headers. Make new graphics for that section, or delete it, perhaps.
Two of the graphics for the full layouts were really, really nice. So is the site layout graphic. The CSS matched on every layout. A job well done.
Pssst. How nice of Caitlyn. She put a button of mine in a "being reviewed by" section. Thanks!
if you leave a comment... then refer to the name of the site. This review was for RadioRocket
This cbox is for visitors to comment about the sites that have been reviewed. It is not for visitors' complaints, defending of friends, telling me how to review sites, or for juding my site. If you want to do one of those listed above, feel free to e-mail me at skylineillusions@yahoo.com which is the site e-mail that I check frequently; I don't feel as if there is a need for any one to e-mail me over these reviews, though. I check this cbox about once every two weeks, usually only if one of my friends says "Go look at that cbox!"
