first impression

Interesting layout! It's very unique, and it looks nice, though a few errors can be found.

It's nice that along the side she has a little section where she links to people that are reviewing her site, however, I find it rude that she doesn't link all the sites, for mine is not listed/linked.

graphic

The graphic is really interesting, and overall it looks great, though there are minimal "problems."

I do love the colors. The brushes and flowers look wonderful togethere, and the polaroid doesn't look out of place at all.

The flowers along the top left side have pixalated, choppy edges that don't look nice against the background. I'm not sure if that was Julia's cutting job, or if that's simply how the stock came. Shown below.

The bottom right hand of the polaroid stock overlaps with a flower, which is great, it pulls the graphic together. However, they should have been blended together better, for you can easily see the polaroid under the flower. Shown below.

Oh! I just noticed that the site's name/url is written along the bottom. The font goes nicely with the hand written brushes. Maybe this would be better along the top, but I feel like along the top it would look cramped, so I think Julia made a good choice.

My favorite part about this graphic would probably be the hand written brushes, the splatters, and the paisleys.

coding

The coding is very nice, too! The colors match wonderfully, everything can be easily read, it's not boring, different fonts have been used... pretty nice, pretty nice!

My one complaint would be the fact that the main div (inside the polaroid) scrolls horizontally. She should have just made the div a little narrower. Perhaps she uses Firefox, in which case this doesn't matter, but a lot of people use Internet Explorer, too, and so she could have programmed the scrollbar colors. Shown below.

content

Visitor content includes icons, bullets, actions, emoticons, and stocks.

icons;
The icons she offers seem to be fairly simple, I don't feel like she's spent much time on these. I love the icon with the horizon and tree on it.

bullets;
The first two sets are well made, however, the third set appears to be pixalated and has a broken image.

actions;
There's only one, but it looks nice and makes your colors more vivid and sharp. The blue outline around the image doesn't look nice.

emoticons;
how cute. These are well made and look adorable. The first set is shown three times in three different colors, and the same for the second.

stocks;
These stock images don't seem like they would be used very often. Some are blurry, too.

navigation

Visitors navigate this site via image map. The image map blends in nicely, but isn't hard to find at all.

Subpages include moi, tu, le site, and la blog. Along the side there's also a section for affiliates, where an apply link can be found.

Off of le site page, a list of credits can be found; six credits, actually.

overall

Julia runs a nice site with a great layout that only has minimal errors.

Things are organized and planned out well, though through out the site there is the occasional problem.

More time and effort would be nice into the icons. Fixing the broken image in the third set of bullets would be a good idea. Blue border around the image download of the action! Delete that! The stock images don't seem very practical.

She should list all sites that are reviewing her, I feel it's just polite.
